Sitting just off the River Liffey this amazing building sits. It is a Neoclassical building used as a government office, designed by James Gandon and completed in 1791.

Canopy

The more I look at trees the more they look like Bronchi inside of lungs. Sweeping the sky for air allowing the earth to breath. The Earth being a living thing, how can it it breath if it has no trees left? https://500px.com/linksproductions www.linksproductionsllc.com

Muckross Trail

You are greeted with views like this all around the Muckross Lake. The clouds were dynamic this day and let all kinds of transforming light through changing the landscape with every sweep. https://500px.com/linksproductions www.linksproductionsllc.com

Killarney Night

This was a great night and surprising at that. The whole day was raining and completely cloud covered. I was not expecting to see any of the night sky while in Ireland, but on this night the clouds opened up and revealed the stars to me. Muckross Shoreline

Muckross Lake is absolutely beautiful. It has a great hiking and biking trail that circles most of the lake. When the light catches just right it is magical. If you look closely in the shadows directly across the lake you will see Muckross House, a famous site here in Killarney. https://500px.com/linksproductions www.linksproductionsllc.com

Killarney Dawn

Sunrise in the Killarney National Park. Absolutely beautiful when the sun pokes through the clouds and sheds light on the green wilderness. The trees are diverse here. They stand tall overlooking Muckross Lake. https://500px.com/linksproductions www.linksproductionsllc.com

Killarney Forest

You don't have to walk very far into Killarney to see trees like these. There is something around every corner and as a photographer there are literally thousands of angles to look for. Trunk Moss

Old Weir Bridge

This old bridge is situated on the river just north of Muckross Lake in Killarney National Park. It is smaller than I expected, but still a cool piece of architecture in the middle of this old forest. https://500px.com/linksproductions www.linksproductionsllc.com

Meeting of the Waters

This area is just upstream from The Meeting of the Waters. This beautiful wilderness is a stark contrast to the concrete jungle we live in now. I would highly recommend this area to anyone traveling. https://500px.com/linksproductions www.linksproductionsllc.com

Killarney Panorama

Killarney National Park is absolutely wonderful. The area is gorgeous and so green! If you were to take a short walk upstream you will be surrounded just as I am here. Walk a little higher up the hill and you will see Muckross Lake behind me. Killarney Hills

The hills, the forest, and so green! Kiallarney National Park is an amazing area to explore. Wish I had an extra day to venture further. The variety of vegetation here is amazing and such a contrast to what we have here in Colorado. https://500px.com/linksproductions www.linksproductionsllc.com

Tree Broken

Even though it is broken it still stands tall. It still remains strong. We should all learn from this as we are capable of the same feat. Even though you may be broken, there is still beauty there in the way you stand tall. Crane

I didnt notice him at first when I took the photo. Then as I looked out over I realized this Crane was standing dead center frame and snapped a few more photos. It wasnt long before he flew off into the distance. https://500px.com/linksproductions www.linksproductionsllc.com

Old Weir, Meeting of the Waters

The Old Weir Bridge crosses a place called The Meeting of the Waters. This is an absolutely beautiful place in Killarney National Park where the three lakes meet. https://500px.com/linksproductions www.linksproductionsllc.com

Muckross Path

Along the Path

Muckross Lake

Such a wonderful lake in the Killarney National Park. With the rolling clouds it created amazing sun rays that shined through onto the greenest of green. https://500px.com/linksproductions www.linksproductionsllc.com

Muckross Forest

I have never seen a forest so green and so covered in moss! I felt like I was in a fantasy land. I was waiting for some magical being to show themselves and take me on an adventure. The great thing about this area is it is just a short walk from the Muckross Mansion. So, get out there and find that wizard hiding in the mystical forest!

Mossy Stump

I still cannot believe how green it is here. This section of woods is near Muckross Lake and is just covered in moss from floor to tree canopy. I assume this has to do with the location and the direction of the wind blowing the misty waters into the forest. From a non-fictional stand point this could be a magical forest filled with elves and wizards!

Jaunting Car

Jaunting cars are widely popular in Ireland. They are common way for tourist to travel around popular areas, especially in Killarney National Park. This one here is heading to the Muckross Mansion to pick up his next fare. If you head further into Killarney National Park you will find these guys heading up and down the winding roads in the mountains.
