This is the site you are greeted with when docking at the Inis Oirr Island. It is the smallest of the Aran Islands, but just as beautiful. There are three ways of getting around once you arrive, by walking, by bike, or horse drawn carriage. For myself, I chose to go with riding a bike. It was a wonderful day to cruise around the island and feel the wind on my face. Plus I could go at my own pace and any direction I wanted to!
This area is the ferry pickup for Aran Islands. I was able to schedule a trip to the small island Inisheer and all the way back we would ride in front of the Cliffs of Moher. With skies like this I knew it was bound to be a good day!
The view waiting for the ferry to take me to the Aran Islands was amazing. To the left you will see the Cliffs of Moher in the distance. Not so grand from this perspective but still beautiful.
