The Kerry Cliffs in Portmagee was a wonderful surprise. They aren't really talked about like the Cliffs of Moher, but offer an amazing view. This is one of the first vies you are greeted with when you enter the park.
There is so much detail in these cliffs. You could spend days here taking in every ridge and line and still discover new things. This area is definitely worth the drive. With luck you will get some sun as I did which brings to life a whole new world.
Ross Castle is a great example of what a typical castle would look like. This one has been renovated on the interior as the roof and a couple of the floors had collapsed, but the renovations kept to the original designs pretty well. The tour is pretty short, but my guide gave great explanation of the rooms and the layout of the castle. Plus, you cannot beat that view of Lough Leane!
