Jaunting cars are widely popular in Ireland. They are common way for tourist to travel around popular areas, especially in Killarney National Park. This one here is heading to the Muckross Mansion to pick up his next fare. If you head further into Killarney National Park you will find these guys heading up and down the winding roads in the mountains.
I have never seen a forest so green and so covered in moss! I felt like I was in a fantasy land. I was waiting for some magical being to show themselves and take me on an adventure. The great thing about this area is it is just a short walk from the Muckross Mansion. So, get out there and find that wizard hiding in the mystical forest!
I still cannot believe how green it is here. This section of woods is near Muckross Lake and is just covered in moss from floor to tree canopy. I assume this has to do with the location and the direction of the wind blowing the misty waters into the forest. From a non-fictional stand point this could be a magical forest filled with elves and wizards!
