This huge calving in the cliff was astonishing. Imagine being here at the moment that section of the cliff collapsed. To see the water splash and here the rocks rumble would have been an experience like no other. The power of wind and water is such it can erode away mountains.
Kerry Cliffs was an absolutely pleasure. They are not the straight drop like Cliffs of Moher but the ruggedness and detail well makes up for it. I hadn't planned on coming here, but am glad I did. This day was sunny and clear through windy near the edge of the cliffs. I cannot get over the color of the water! So blue and green! I highly recomend this area, especially during the week where you will find you are the only one there.
Looking back from Kerry Cliffs this was one of the coolest features. It looked like a big bite had been taken out of the hill. It was a straight fall to the ocean. Plus that carpet of green along the back of it was something else!
